CHARLEVOIX INTERNATIONAL

A window on the world

To contribute to the development of Charlevoix’ economy and increase its reach on both the national and international scenes, the Bix Agency is today putting a new business portal - www.charlevoixinternational.com on line.  Charlevoix International will play an essential role in showcasing the products and services of Charlevoix to the outside world.  By using “e-marketing” strategies, Charlevoix International will aim its interventions towards Chambers of Commerce everywhere to make people aware that Charlevoix is open for business.  By making this new portal easily accessible to our region’s market participants, offering information in four languages (French, English, Spanish and Mandarin), we believe that we can successfully propel Charlevoix enterprises on the international scene.

The site is user-friendly and references on several search motors currently in great usage such as Yahoo,  MSN and Google.  The portal offer original, pertinent and useful content because that is what today’s Internet users are looking for.   So we put in high traffic or affiliated links to attain this: online forums carrying our content or social networks such as MySpace, YouTube or Facebook.   Since our main objective is to increase the number of visitors, we have created what is commonly known as traffic modules, i.e., portions of our site on secondary connectivity subjects. For example, since Charlevoix wishes to be known as a privileged territory in matters of sustainable development (World Biosphere Reserve, several nature parks, etc.), we have developed a blog on our vision for Charlevoix in 2049.

Users will also find content promoting the region, its products and services.  Short and informative, this content is popular and to the point and, will allow us to increase our target clientele.  Finally, these short promotional articles will become a valued source as a direct link with our site and strengthens our position on the Web.
